How To Add META TAGS to Blogger

It isnt Just about Posting On Your Page.To get your Post indexed you must have added Meta tag to your template.Definition of Meta tag (helps with traffic,cos of keywords)

Meta elements are HTML or XHTML elements used to provide structured metadata about a Web page. Such elements must be placed as tags in the head section of an HTML or XHTML document. Meta elements can be used to specify page description, keywords and any other metadata not provided through the other head elements and attributes.

1.Sign in to your blogger dashboard-->click the 'Layout' button

2.Click on the 'Edit html' tab

3.Find this code: (Ctrl+F)

4.Now add below code just after the above code.

<meta content='DESCRIPTION HERE' name='description'/>

<meta content='KEYWORDS HERE' name='keywords'/>

<meta content='AUTHOR NAME HERE' name='author'/>

Replace,

DESCRIPTION HERE:Write your blog description

KEYWORDS:Write the keywords of your blog

AUTHOR NAME:Write the author's name(Your name)

Now save your template and you're good to go.
