11 Truths About Blogging They Didn't Tell You

Blogging has over the years become so popular on the internet community and a major source of passive income for most people. The many avenues and opportunities of making money from blogging cannot be over-emphasised.

I started blogging some years back and durring my time of learning how to blog and to be a better blogger, i discovered some vital truth about blogging which most of you don't know about. The simple truth about blogging is what i'm going to be discoursing with you guys today.

Like i said earlier, i have being blogging since 2008 and believe me when i say i know what i'm going to be sharing with you guys today. Some newbies and wanna be bloggers often ask questions like: how do i learn how to blog? Can you teach me how to blog? What is blogging? What are the requirements for blogging? How much can i make from blogging? and so many other similar questions. I do recieve such questions some times, though i don't blog about how to blog and the rest about blogging. These people that do ask me these questions are usually disappointed when i say to them that i cannot teach them how to blog, but only them can teach themselves how to blog and become a better blogger. I can only give you the necessary tools and materials needed for blogging, but i cannot hold your hands to teach you how to blog; i believe no body would do that also.

I remember one of my course mates John, begging me to teach him how to blog. After some days of begging and persuation, i finally decided to teach him how to blog. To test if he was ready to learn, i asked him a simple question. John, what do you put most of your time in and which you hold very dear to yourself? He replied, i think my University Degree and certificates. And i asked him, John, how will you feel if that degree certificate got burnt? Judging from the way he looked at me when i asked him that question suggested he didn't like the question. Well, he finally replied, it cannot happen and if it ever happened i cannot take it. So, i asked him the final question: John, what about you starting afresh again to get another degree certificate? John answered, i cannot start a new degree program because i don't have that time. Then i told John, if you cannot forget the lost degree certificate which you hold very dear to yourself and start all over again, then i cannot teach you how to blog. He was sad, but after taking some time to explain everything to him about blogging, he finally realised that blogging was not for him, that if he should go into blogging, it will be a total waste of time; expensive time that would be needed for other productive ventures and opportunities. The bitter truth is that, blogging is not for everyone.

I failed with three different blogs at the early stages of my blogging career, but i never gave up on my dream of becoming a successful blogger. What kept me going is what most people who wishes to blog don't have and what every successful blogger must possess. This is determination, focus, passion and believe. These are the few qualities a successful and good blogger should have toward blogging.

If you want to be a successful blogger, you must be ready for temporary failures and setbacks. Every successful blogger has once in their blogging career come to the point were they just want to quit blogging or just forget everything about blogging. But, the moment they finally make that final step to continue blogging, their breakthrough comes.
