Building A Blog's Traffic

Ok Here we go bloggers!

The primary aim of every blogger is to make money and to get good  traffic. Without good traffic, you can't make money via blogging!

There are different ways in which you can get traffic to your blog.

Now, before getting traffic, you need audience. Your first audience  will come from social networks and link sharing sites provided you share  your links.

Lets Start from Facebook- Before you can trust your  traffic from facebook, you need to have quite a number of friends (At  least from 1 thousand and above) and be very interactive with them so  they can view any of your shared links even if they're not interested.  Interaction with your facebook friends play a good role in getting  audience to your links and blog. You can start by posting funny status  updates, attractive statuses or offering them something priceless for  free.

Also, give your blogposts a very sugarcoated title so that it  can attract even busy facebookers...  Facebook is a very good source for  getting new audience if you get the tactics i stated above wella.

Twitter- You may not create a new twitter acct for your blog as you can  use a personal acct for sharing your links. Infact, i prefer personal  accts so you can get friendly visitors that can address you by name and  interact with you. This way, you're getting real and friendly audience.  If you don't have followers, you can use some twitter systems like  easyretweet.com or twiends.com. Also cultivate the habit of replying  trending topics frequently so people can notice you and might follow you  if they find your replies intersting. Don't be Stingy! Follow as many  people as you like and reply them freq then watch as your twitter  acct/tweets grow. Use this method for getting traffic from digg.com and  likes also.


Moseso,tell your readers to subscribe to your blog  posts either via rss or email... You can promise to give them something  very good if they subscribe. Do not forget to give freebies and  giveaways. You know people like free stuffs! This way, people will visit  your blog and even advertise for you because of the giveaway they got.


GETTING TRAFFIC FROM SEARCH ENGINES (ORGANIC TRAFFIC):-


This is a type of traffic every blogger wants. Search Engines  especially Google respect traffic from sites with good authority...  Meaning your backlinks, Pagerank and Content! (Above all, Content is the  King as they say).

You need to write unique posts with unique titles so as to be seen and awarded traffic from google.

Not just that, be among the first posters! This goes to news and mag  blogs as your blog will rank well in search results if you are an early  poster of updates, google will see you as a serious blogger and will  take some blogs as fake and copycats. This is why your posts has to be  in a unique style of writing. Also make sure you have meta tags on your  blog. Google it to learn more. There's a doc here on how to do it also.  Having gotten this, you now need to submit your sitemap to google  webmasters and others. Right now, yahoo and bing has merged their  webmasters so submit your sitemap to google at www.google.com/webmasters then to bing at www.bing.com/webmasters. Your sitemap url is your feed url but if you are on blogger platform, you can use yoursite.com/feeds/posts/
default?orderby=updated as your sitemap url.

Sorry i can't continue because this tutorials was written on mobile but  I've dropped the main tips i use on my blogs. At least My 1 month and  12 days old blog is having over 10k total pageviews (80% from google)  and still working to get more.
